In 2005, Sessùn opened the doors of its first boutique in Marseille, at 6 rue Sainte in the Opéra district, just steps from the Vieux-Port. Deeply attached to its hometown, this emblematic address is now being reinvented to reflect its values and universe even more intensely.
A truly historic boutique, the second ever opened after Paris Charonne - the Marseille address fully embodies the brand’s profound connection to a territory: the Mediterranean.
It tells the story of a brand shaped by meaningful encounters, drawing from its roots the foundations of its identity: authenticity, sincerity, and a radiant spirit.

Imagined with the interior architecture studio Antes Architecture - founded by Maeva Henninot and Capucine Guhur, the latter winner of the first edition of the Sessùn Craft Prize in 2023, the renovation was conceived to align closely with what defines Sessùn’s DNA today: supporting contemporary creation and craftsmanship, while continuing to ensure each boutique remains unique.

Three exacting collaborations with artisans shape the space and infuse it with its characteristic soul.
Totem-like plinths crafted by sculptor Léa Bigot punctuate the boutique, forming a central island reminiscent of organic display structures. The cash desk is adorned with hand-shaped and hand-illustrated tiles by ceramist Victor Marqué. The luminous glass-paste suspension at the heart of the boutique, along with several platter pieces adorning the plinths, are created by artist Claire Pegis.

In continuity with its ongoing commitment to gather, nurture, and grow a community of artisans and artists - continuously weaving connections with the French, European, and international creative scenes - Sessùn aims to make its Marseille address a dedicated space for encounters and discoveries. A place that embodies its profound desire to introduce visitors to the richness of the artisans who inspire and accompany the brand every day, guided by a shared love of beauty.
